Teacher Faith Formation
The Archdiocese of Omaha requires that all of its Catholic school teachers participate in 18 hours of Faith Formation each school year. These hours are essential to not only to equip our teachers with knowledge of the Catholic faith but to set their hearts on fire for love of Jesus and the Church. Then, they can't help but pass that on to our students.

School Year 2025-2026
In order to fulfill the hours required by the Archdiocese, the staff at EI provides instruction to teachers through a variety of formation sessions.

St. Paul, the early Church, and It’s Meaning for Us Today
The goal this year is to provide teachers with insights from the Apostle to the Gentiles, St. Paul. His writings represent the oldest texts of the New Testament, teachings that pre-date the Gospels. What does he reveal to us about the good news as it was understood in the early Church, before there was a formal structure of the Church? What social issues and challenges was he addressing in his letters? Most importantly, how can we apply his teaching and lessons to our own path of discipleship in the Lord so that we can say, with St. Paul, that “it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”? (Gal 2:20)
