About the event
Come pray Solemn (chanted) Vespers at St. Peter's Church with Dcn. Omar, followed by an informal meal at the Gutierrez Home. RSVP is required.
St. Peter's (27th and Leavenworth) provides Mundelein Psalters and a sheet with the page numbers for the liturgy. Vespers lasts about 20 minutes and begins promptly at 5pm. If you're unfamiliar with chanting solemn vespers, it is recommended you come early to familiarize yourself with the book. Entrance to the Church is best made through the West door (which includes a ramp). At the Gutierrez Home, parking is very limited due to construction, so carpooling is highly recommended. There is no parking on the East side of our block. No need to bring anything. Food and drink will be provided. There is no program, just a chance to visit and enjoy some refreshments.
